Auxins have a diverse effect on the overall development of higher plant species in complex interaction with other phytohormones. Auxins have a particular effect on cell elongation, especially in coleoptiles and in the shoot axes. They stimulate cambium activity, affect cell division, apical dominance, abscission, phototropism and geotropism and other growth and development processes.
Indol-3-ylacetic acid and especially some synthetic auxins such as 2,4-D have found wide application as growth regulators in agriculture and in fruit growing and horticulture (fruit thinning, promotion of fruit set).

A very good option for the germination of your seeds is the contribution of natural auxins.

To get these auxins, the steps to follow would be:

We will fill a glass with bottled water, this water already has a correct PH we need, then we will add a tablespoon with lentils which we will rinse beforehand to remove any impurities that they may carry. We will keep the lentils in the water for 24 hours.

After these hours we will remove the lentils and that's it, we have the water with natural auxins. This water is the one we will use for the first hydration. It is important that during germination the temperature is between 23° and 25°C (73.4°/77.0°F) . You can use this process with your preferred Germination Method. It is very important to avoid excesses of water since it can lead to the proliferation of undesirable pathogens in our germination.
